NX Billet High Flow Bottle Valves


The key to maximizing nitrous horsepower is to keep the nitrous in liquid form until it is injected into the engine. Sharp bends cause nitrous flow to become turbulent which causes gaseous bubbles to form in the nitrous flow. Liquid nitrous makes more power than gaseous nitrous – Period!

Nitrous Express Lightning 500 and DF5 bottle valves feature a direct flow path which eliminates those power robbing gaseous bubbles. The result is more horsepower! The Lightning 500 will outflow any competitors valve on the market today and is recommended for all nitrous systems up to 2000 nitrous horsepower. The Lightning 500 hasthe largest orifice and the highest piston lift of any conventional nitrous bottle valve. The 500 has a .625 siphon tube, only one 45 degree turn in the nitrous flow path and fittings that will allow the use of up to a 10AN supply line with no restrictions. The 500 is engineered to eliminate all obstructions, sharp edges or tight turns that will disrupt the smooth laminar flow of nitrous. This design minimizes boiling and gaseous nitrous in the flow path to the solenoid resulting in a nitrous system that produces more clean horsepower and is easier to tune on any car! The Lightning 500 is CNC machined from billet aluminum and is approximately ½ pound lighter than a comparable brass valve, has dual gauge ports, and interchangeable nipples that will allow the use of 4AN, 6AN, 8AN, or 10AN supply lines. The DF 5, which is equipped with a .500 orifice and a direct flow, straight through design, is capable of flowing over 2,000 nitrous horsepower!

Lightning Solenoids

NX Lightning solenoids feature an improved flow path that allows nitrous / fuel to enter above the seat and exit out the bottom for flow unmatched by any other solenoid on the market. Lightning nitrous solenoids feature an integrated purge port which allows you to connect a purge valve directly to the nitrous solenoid. Purging through the body of the solenoid eliminates the air pocket between the purge valve and the solenoid orifice. Lightning fuel solenoids feature a fuel bypass port which allows you to connect a small return line to the tank. This eliminates trapped air between the fuel pressure regulator and the fuel solenoid which eliminates the lean spike associated with other solenoids. Lightning Series solenoids feature CNC aluminum bodies topped with Carbon Fiber cans for the ultimate in weight savings.
